Jill Courtney is a Nashville-based music business professional who was raised in Manitou Springs, CO. She has her Professional Teaching and ILL-B Administrator's licenses through the State of TN. She is also professionally licensed as a School Building Leader through the State of NY. She has taught for Belmont University, Tennessee State University, The Art Institute of Tennessee-Nashville, John Robert Powers-Nashville, Nashville Film Institute (where she designed their new Acting for Camera program/curriculum and aided in securing accreditation), Metro Nashville Public Schools, VIPKid, as a commercial and classical voice instructor, a director of ensembles, and a songwriting, music theory, music business, piano, acting, commercial voice, creative writing, ESL, entrepreneurship and audio recording instructor. Jill was also the Coordinator of Commercial Music and Voice at Lamar State College.
She is a marketer, an educator, a leader and an artist.

Hello! I have been married to Scott for 29 years. We have 3 children, a cat and a dog. I love to bike, hike, garden and eat! I love working with children and helping them grown socially, emotionally and academically! I was a social worker for 20 years before I became a teacher 10 years ago. I have a BSW from UT Martin, an MAT and an EL endorsement from Trevecca.
